Fifteen years ago, I started Therapy Associates because I saw the need for adult therapy, child therapy, and educational assessments in Hong Kong.  Since then, the Hong Kong community has come a long way and Therapy Associates has grown with it. We’ve responded to the many needs of a community that has grown aware of the importance of mental health. In fact, we have changed so much that our label as a therapy firm is no longer applicable to what we are really doing, which is promoting the wellbeing of our clients and the community in a multitude of ways. Going beyond assessments and therapy, we now provide workshops to educators on schooling, sessions to parents on parenting, and classes for children to develop their strengths.

To incorporate these new services we’ve launched under our new name: The Blurton Family Development Center. We continue to believe that the best approach to mental wellbeing is a comprehensive look at the problem, an individualized solution, and use of the highest levels of expertise along the way. We believe that the process should be practical and understandable by everyone involved. We are honored to take this next step with you and thank you all for growing with us.
